Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Client Side)

Description:

I am currently working with a reputable Northern Irish Client in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With a development programme valued circa £100m over the next 5 years, they now require an experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist with the capital program implementation.

The Role:

Report8ing into the Project director you will join a high performing team building Belfast future infrastructure.

You will be responsible for assisting the Engineering team delivering a variety of large scare & maintenance projects across the portfolio, overseeing both operational and capital budgets. Duties include;

• Oversee tender and contract cost analysis, subcontractor procurement, and documentation management.
• Handle the management of project variations and contribute to pre-contract take-offs, interim valuations, and final account preparations.
• Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports and assist in the logistical, technical, and commercial project management to align with business goals.
• Support budget development and monitoring for both operational and capital expenditures, along with contributing to the airport's Long Term Business Plan.
• Foster a culture of high health, safety, and environmental standards, manage project risks, engage with key stakeholders, and promote continuous improvement and flexibility in working hours.

The Person:

• You will have a Quantity Surveying qualification, at HND level or higher
• Minimum of 3 years working within a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within a client / consultancy background (PQS)
• Previous experience in cost control of construction projects alongside managing and allocating budgets.
• You will have a full UK driving licence
