Job description
My client is looking for a Head of Finance to contribute to the overall success of the business. Reporting into the Managing Director, the Head of Finance will act as a strategic business partner to the senior executive leadership team and will effectively manage all financial tasks for the Company.
The successful candidate will be able to :
- Be able to demonstrate significant experience of working at a senior level within a complex project Finance role.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
- Be commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence - ability to motivate staff
- Outstanding knowledge of UK financial and accounting regulation and communication requirements for a listed company
- "Hands on" ERP systems experience - SAP- and Earned Value Management
- Background coordinating with IT staff to manage and / or upgrade accounting system. Systems implementation first hand experience.
