Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Banstead, Surrey

• Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon or soon to be?
• Are you looking for more flexibility, autonomy or recognition?

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Banstead, Surrey. This role is full time for 4 days per week with shifts from 8am to 7pm, along with 2 in 5 Saturdays from 8:30am to 12pm. There is no OOH work or on-call duties.

Thepractice is an established purpose-built clinic which is fully equipped with all the toys including ultrasonography, digital radiography, in house lab and more! They have a lovely loyal client base, and they boast an excellent local reputation.

The role involves all aspects of consulting and surgery however the practice will support a specific area of special interest.

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full time, 4 days per week
• Sole charge: None
• OOH: None
• Team: 2 vets, 3 nurses and a supportive non-clinical team

About you:

• The practice can support an experienced Vet or a newly graduated Vet
• It is essential the Vet is a team player
• They will enjoy and embrace all aspects of the role
• They will have sound knowledge of all aspects of Veterinary duties and responsibilities - for more experienced Vets
• They will have excellent communication skills.
• They will have excellent client care skills and be able to build client relationships easily.
• They will remain calm under pressure and be able to multitask where appropriate
• They will have an enthusiastic and motivated attitude with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Facilities:

As a state-of-the-art purpose-built practice is offers a wide range of veterinary services and facilities, including:

• ECG
• Nurse clinics
• Laser therapies
• In-house laboratory
• Isolation wards
• Digital X-ray
• Separate cat and dog wards

Package:

• Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 4 weeks annual leave
• Onsite free parking

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
