Position Type:6-month contract (with potential to extend)
Salary:£30 - £60 per hour
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Inspector to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis, with potential for extension. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting their renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on Electrical Inspection & Testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical inspection, testing, and maintenance on renewable energy systems, including solar panels, wind turbines, and battery storage systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed, including test results, maintenance logs, and equipment records.
Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical inspection and testing procedures, including familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and diagnosing faults.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving licence is essential due to the remote location of our client's facilities.
