We are Active Care Group, the leading provider of complex care. Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury, neurological and acquire brain injury to live independently in their own homes.
We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker in Broughton area.
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support our male client with a spinal cord injury and airways management within his own home.
You will move into the client’s home and support them with personal care (including washing, dressing and toileting), moving and handling, domestic tasks and social activities.
When you'll be working:
Assignments between 1 -2 weeks long
Live in 12 hour days or waking nights
Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas
Zero hours contracts
You must commit to working regularly each month to enable continuity of care for our clients
What you'll have:
Kind and caring nature
Flexibility & reliability – continuity of care is imperative for our clients
Good communication skills
Experience with SCI and holding a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social care preferred.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
What to look forward to:
up to £138 per day on a zero hour contract
