Job description

A Sales Ledger clerk/ credit controller is required for an exciting permanent opportunity working in Coventry.

You will be working as part of a small friendly finance team and you will be responsible for managing your own ledger of accounts.

Your daily duties will include:
- contacting customers for outstanding payments by phone and email
- credit checking
- raising sales invoices
- negotiating payment plans
- resolving customer queries
- aged debt reporting

We are looking for an experienced sales ledger clerk/ credit controller with a proven track record in reducing aged debt and maximising cash collection.You must have good communication skills.
This is a hybrid role with 50% homeworking so 3 days in the office and 2 from home one week and then 2 days in the office and 3 days from home the other week.
