Property Maintenance and Housing Repairs Coordinator who is a high performing individual with excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload is required for a well-established housing association based in Evesham, Worcestershire, West Midlands.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone looking for a career in housing SALARY: £25,000 - £29,221 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits LOCATION: Hybrid working – from the office in Evesham, Worcestershire, and from home JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST have a full and current driving licence and use of own vehicle insured for business as some travel will be required to other offices and sites JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Property Maintenance and Housing Repairs Coordinator who is a high performing individual with excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload. Working as a Property Maintenance and Housing Repairs Coordinator you will coordinate the repairs work to void properties for general needs housing and supported housing schemes, including a proportion of privately owned flats (where the company receives income/profit from sales). As a Property Maintenance and Housing Repairs Coordinator you will also coordinate the pre-void process, ensuring homes are inspected, identifying, and ordering minor works to be carried out in the pre-void and void periods, including the delivery of planned works where necessary. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS As a Property Maintenance and Housing Repairs Coordinator will have the following skills and attributes: • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a minimum A-C Maths and English. • Excellent verbal communication skills • A focus on providing great customer service • The ability to manage a busy workload • Able to demonstrate excellent decision-making skills for cost effective repairs • Be able to deal with potentially complex situations, whilst finding solutions to complex issues • Experience of working in the housing sector is not essential, however would be an advantage • Dedication and a willingness to learn are essential • A good level of IT literacy • You must also have a full and current driving licence and use of own vehicle insured for business use as the role will require some travel to other offices, services, schemes, projects, housing, or development locations as dictated by the role COMPANY BENEFITS • Hybrid and flexible workingJob tags
