Job description
Young disabled girl with autism and ADHD, who lives in Musselburgh, looking for a personal assistant. You should have a calm soothing manner and be willing to take the girl swimming or out to places of interest to the child. The child is also interested in crafts including playdoh.
Some experience of working with disabled children would be useful and it would be preferrable if you have a full driving licence valid in the UK But not essential. It is essential that you are a member of the protection of vulnerable groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join. Employer will fund this cost.
The post is for two hours per week consisting of one shift. Shift day and time to be negotiated. Employer willing to be flexible. There may be additional hours during school holidays.
Rate of pay is £10.50 per hour.
