Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) is in an exciting period of transition as we embed the findings and recommendations of our recent organisational change Creative Renewal programme, and as we focus our business around six new pillars of creativity: theatre; dance; children, young people and families; co-curated and outdoor work; artist development; scenic design and construction.
The Vacancy
This brand new role demonstrates TRP’s renewed commitment to fundraising and is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to build a team around them that delivers fundraising success for our organisation.
The Fundraising Director will be responsible for raising charitable income from individuals, trusts and foundations, and public sector sources. It will nurture long-term relationships with everyone who supports us, and help us to develop engaging income generation opportunities.
Following a successful renewal of our National Portfolio Organisation status with Arts Council England until 2026, we need to grow our fundraising from a low level to approximately £1.5m per annum within five years. As the Director of Fundraising, you will devise and deliver an ambitious income growth strategy across a range of funding streams in line with TRP’s strategic goals.
