Job description
Cygnet Healthcare are looking for confident Administrator Lead with a passion for supporting in the delivering outstanding care to join our New Service – Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton opening in Summer 2024.
At Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton you will be working 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton is our new state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for men, in the West Midlands. The service will be opening in mid-2024.
The service will feature two wards. A 12-bed PICU ward and a 17-bed Acute ward. Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton will have a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and will support the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment.
You’re day-to-day at Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton:
- Oversee and Support Administrative Team Members
- Support the Hospital Manager with coordinating training courses, manage training compliance for all departments at site.
- Responsible for liaising with new starters and ensuring everything is prepared ahead of their start date.
- Complete Employee Supervisions for fellow Administrator Team Members
- Monitor staff performance in accordance with the Cygnet Procedures for Annual Performance Review.
- Attend Daily Safety Huddle Meeting as necessary and follow up on any actions.
- Prepare agenda for Hospital meeting, attend and take minutes.
- Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support
- Oversea the updating and keeping of files and records on site
- Provide support and direction for junior staff members
- Be the first contact person in relation to ICT/Printers/Phones matters at the site
- Assist with interviewing candidates to join both the Administrative and Receptionist departments.
You are…
- An experienced administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health
- Previous experience in working within an administration team environment as either a supervisor or administrator lead.
- Able to delegate tasks to ensure deadlines are reached
- Previous experience in undertaking supervisions and employee appraisals
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement
- An ability to minute complex meetings
- Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions
- Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative
- A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet
