Monday – Friday office hours. 40 Hours a week
This Supplier Quality Manager responsibilities and duties:
Supplier Quality Manager, SQM, Supplier Quality Engineer based near Witney in Oxfordshire.
This person will be responsible for building and developing the Supplier Quality process for an advanced engineering business.
Working for a medium sized business that manufactures parts for highly regulated industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport).You will work on some extremely interesting projects at the high end of the engineering spectrum, they have a very reputable customer base.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to have freedom of creating their own quality function.You will be able to lead and implement your own processes & best practice and establish a team further down the line.
Salary is dependant on experience.
This Supplier Quality Manager role will suit:
Supplier Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer, SQM or similar.You will be working with the engineering and manufacturing teams in order to select suppliers and monitor ongoing performance.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the Supplier Quality framework, so you will have a lot of influence on the success of the supplier relationships for the business.
This will involve travel to customer sites across the UK along with the odd international trip – you must have a UK driving license and a Passport.
Ideally you will have a strong technical background and have worked in regulated environments (Automotive, Aerospace, Defence).Exposure to ISO accreditations or other regulated environments will be beneficial.
Lead auditor (preferably AS9100 or AITF 16949)
Experience with Quality management tools – APQP / FMEA / PPAP / Six sigma.
