Teacher of English

St Richard Reynolds Catholic College

Location

Richmond upon Thames, Greater London | United Kingdom

Job description

We are looking to appoint an English Teacher to join our department working with colleagues who are committed to delivering outstanding lessons across all key stages. This is a full-time position, however we will consider 0.8fte for an exceptional candidate.

The English department at St Richard Reynolds Catholic College is passionate about instilling a love of literature in all of our students. The curriculum is dynamic, challenging and carefully sequenced to ensure that all students make great progress, whether that be achieving a grade 5 at GCSE or an A* at A Level. The team has high standards of themselves and students and are collaborative in their practice. While we ask you to support our Catholic ethos, being a practising Catholic is not a requirement, we welcome applicants from any background.

Salary negotiable dependent upon calibre and experience

We will consider applications from Early Career Teachers and those who have been teaching for some time and are looking for a new challenge/career development and who already have a track record.

In return for your commitment and passion for teaching, we offer:

St Richard Reynolds Catholic College is a vibrant community consisting of a federation of two Outstanding schools: SRR Catholic Primary School and SRR Catholic High School which includes a Sixth Form. Our community is a place where our young people come first, are loved, listened to, challenged and inspired. The College is part of the Ascension Catholic Academy Trust. Further information can be found on the Trust website - The Ascension Catholic Academy Trust - Home
