The role…

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will provide the day-to-day financial support for the commercial sales channel heads and the marketing teams. You will support the UK Head of Commercial Finance to understand and improve performance to deliver profitable growth for the business. This role joins the Commercial Finance team that is integral to driving the business forward and making key commercial decisions across Newell Brands portfolio of products.

· Prepare and review regular reporting, including the provision of insightful commentary developed with the business highlighting risks and opportunities

· Proactively business partner the commercial teams to drive the most profitable outcome for the business

· Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the sales teams, identifying key assumptions and challenges that are embedded in the plans

· Provide ad hoc commercial analysis and recommendations to support channel deliverables.

· Develop and analyse promotional pricing and business cases for strategic initiatives

· Develop and drive through improvements to forecasting, reporting and other financial processes to gain better control and visibility of performance

· Work with financial control team to ensure the accuracy of the month-end figures

· You will be a Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)

· You will have Business partnering experience with commercial experience - ideally in the FMCG sector

· Strong Excel skills are essential; experience of Oracle would be an advantage
