Job description
We currently require the services of a Solutions Architect to work for a well-respected energy client. The role is Hybrid, onsite 1 day per week, with its base location being in Solihull. It is a full-time role, with flexibility of start/finish times.
This role is for a Digital Solution Architect to support the Customer Digital team. Your primary duties will involve crafting and executing inventive digital solutions that align with business goals and ensure outstanding user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
- Develop complete digital architectures, encompassing web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud services.
- Assess technology choices and offer suggestions for enhancing performance, scalability, and security.
- Lead technical conversations and offer direction to development teams during all project phases.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies to foster ongoing improvement and innovation.
- Guarantee adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and regulatory standards.
Skills:
- Demonstrated background as a Solution Architect, specializing in digital solutions.
- Proficient in delivering applications aimed at customers.
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., React).
- Practical experience with Azure cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot platforms.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with various stakeholders.
- Understanding of distributed data solutions and Unified-CRM concepts.
- Proficiency in working within Agile, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation frameworks.
- Responsible for overseeing Business architecture related to Marketing & Sales, Customer Service, and other customer-facing digital solutions.
- Act as the technical lead in all client solution communications, ensuring progress throughout the implementation phase.
- Collaborate with other Solution architects and industry partners to supervise end-to-end solution or component design and implementation, providing technical oversight until transition into Production.
- Technical expertise in real-time services via APIs and other web services with millisecond requirements using SSL connectivity.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is advantageous.
