Your new company Hays are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger on behalf of a growing international manufacturing business who are looking to grow their finance team. Your new company already has an ambitious and forward-thinking finance team for you to join.
Your new role For this role you will have experience in the everyday processes required of a Purchase Ledger as well as being responsibile for:
Managing the day-to-day purchase ledger, matching the purchase orders on the companies' system, matching the delivery notes, invoices and entering this information into Access Financials.
You will set up the supplier's accounts on the company's systems as well as reconciling their statements at the month\s end.
Alongside this, you will liaise with the suppliers via telephone and email.
What you'll need to succeed You must have strong knowledge of IT systems such as excel and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
It is essential that you possess good communication, numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills.
You must be willing to identify opportunities for improving the business's success.
