We have an excellent opportunity for a Knowledge Administrator working within the HR Operations team on a 8 month fixed term contract/ secondment.
Working with the Knowledge Manager you will be involved in the BAU delivery and continuous improvement of the People Hub, our HR knowledge management system.
This role will involve article creation and updates, while also looking at opportunities to improve international reach, optimised workflow efficiency, and enhanced content governance.
The Knowledge Administrator will also be responsible for reporting, implementing systems enhancements, and driving proactive content improvement initiatives based on sampling and feedback.
Responsibilities: - People Hub Updates: Regularly update and maintain the People Hub, ensuring colleagues have access to accurate and up-to-date information. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather and verify information for updates.
- International Focus : - Work towards expanding the People Hub's reach to include global offices and employees. Collaborate with regional teams to gather and incorporate localised information.
- Explore People Hub Workflow and Efficiency : Evaluate the existing workflow and processes within the People Hub. Identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address pain points in accessing and updating information.
- Reporting: Develop and generate regular reports on the usage, effectiveness, and impact of the People Hub. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on report findings.
- Content Governance: Establish and enforce content governance policies and guidelines for the People Hub. Ensure content quality, consistency, and relevance. Collaborate with content owners to ensure adherence to governance standards.
- Content enhancement : Identify opportunities to enhance the People Hub's content by incorporating engaging formats such as videos, infographics, and interactive elements. - Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to develop multimedia content that effectively communicates key information.
- Active Communications Campaigns: Develop and execute proactive communications campaigns to promote the People Hub and encourage knowledge sharing. - Utilize various communication channels to engage employees and drive awareness of the People Hub's value and capabilities.
- Systems Enhancements : Identify and implement enhancements to the knowledge management system, including user interface improvements, search functionality, and integration with other tools and platforms.
- Sampling and Feedback: Conduct regular sampling and feedback exercises to assess the quality and relevance of the People Hub's content.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience: - Very strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write in engaging, plain English.
- Creative flair and ability to engage an audience while always maintaining M&G's tone of voice and brand.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and to manage expectations.
- An ability to react quickly and decisively, considering options and making decisions to determine the appropriate course of action.
- The ability to proactively anticipate issues and mitigate as appropriate.
- Previous experience in an HR or knowledge management role will be advantageous but not essential.
