Garden International School, Rayong, presents an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, successful school on Thailand’s beautiful Eastern Seaboard. We are looking for a Design Technology teacher to start in August 2024. ( here )
We are searching for an energetic, experienced Design Technology teacher to join our team. Experience in teaching IGCSE or GCSE and IB or A Level is highly desirable. The successful candidate would be expected to teach Design Technology across the whole age and ability range, from Year 7 to IB2.
We have a vibrant extra-curricular programme across the school, and candidates able to coach sports, especially football, swimming, and basketball, are particularly welcome.
Garden International School is a coeducational school of around 480 students, with classes from Early Years to Year 13. We have over 40 nationalities represented in our community and use an educational framework based on the English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Many of our students have English as an Additional Language and these students are supported by a strong English as an Additional Language department. We have a small boarding facility, and the school has a wonderful sense of community. Class sizes are generally small, with the students well motivated, engaged in their learning and supported by their families. Our results are impressive, with around 90% of students achieving five or more A*- C grades at IGCSE and a 100% pass rate in the IB Diploma.
Our school is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and the Thai Ministry of Education (ONESQA). We are affiliated with the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and the Department for Education in the United Kingdom. We are also a founder member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA).
Ban Chang is a semi-rural coastal town in Rayong Province, about 2 hours from Bangkok and 30 - 40 minutes from both the tourist hot spot of Pattaya and the bustling city of Rayong.
