Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Auditor to join our client's fast-paced food manufacturing business. The role will be based on a Monday to Friday shift (no nights) and will involve working closely with the production team to ensure the quality and safety of their products.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment and will be able to work effectively in a team, as well as on their own initiative. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Performing audits on products and processes to identify any non-conformances and taking corrective actions.
• Communicating any issues or concerns with the production team and providing guidance on corrective actions.
• Maintaining accurate records of all quality checks and audits.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRC.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards, including HACCP and BRC.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to identify issues and provide solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work either a day or night shift.
