Job description
Expleo Engineering UK are seeking a Process Engineer who has process, project management, and experience of design and install of manufacturing processes and equipment. Based on site with a Global Automotive manufacturer in the North East.
- Vehicle / process technical concern investigation and resolution
- Trial Planning and Control
- Design change introduction
- Cost down and process improvement activity
- Management of facility specifications and budgets
- Current Production support and improvement activities
- Support new model introduction programs
- HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Engineering
- A high level of understanding of manufacturing process and proceedures ideally within a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge and experience of automotive process engineering
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Experience of design and install of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience

- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Strong cross functional team leadership skills
- Able to work autonomously, with a hands-on approach.
- Good computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of CAD systems AutoCad/Spacevision/Catia an advantage
- Good communication skills, written & verbal
- Self motivated team worker with a flexible working approach
