The Transportation business covers all aspects of multidisciplinary design and management, from inception and options appraisal through to detailed design and delivery/construction support. It is our centre of excellence for the design of roads and rail infrastructure projects. We aim to be the first-choice designer for local and national roads authorities, contractors, and developers.
Summary:
The primary role is to undertake site inspections, data collection, assist in design & monitoring the Term Maintenance Contractor recording site activities for audit purposes. Consulting with Client, Utility Providers & Local Communities.
Based in the Highway Maintenance Team in Trowbridge, the role will provide support to Engineers in the delivery of minor highway improvement schemes, drainage CCTV and repairs, carriageway surfacing / surface treatment projects, carriageway improvements, footway resurfacing & vehicular restraint works on behalf of Wiltshire Council.
