Development Manager
Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit a Development Manager with immediate starts to work for a busy Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company based in Runcorn.Monday - Friday 9-53-month assignment with the outlook to be extended£26.76 per hourOnsite parking
*Background screening checks are to be completed prior to starts, this includes a DBS check*
The role:
- Collaborate with the HRD to develop, implement and lead an innovative training and education strategy that draws on industry best practice to facilitate the transfer of relevant technical knowledge to support the delivery of business objectives across all functions.
- Perform needs analysis, create, design, implement, monitor and maintain the site technical training and development plan ensuring alignment with mandatory training and regulatory requirements
- Manage the plan within the Training and Development AOP to deliver the agreed strategy.
- Work with functional managers, supervise the development and maintenance of training curricula for defined job roles.
- Ensure training records and proper content allocation via Learning Management System (Studium).
- Develop a delivery network of internal SMEs, and lead vendor selection of external SMEs as required.
- Develop, maintain and report metrics demonstrating training effectiveness and compliance through agreed channels, including reporting outstanding training to SLT.
- Establish, maintain, train and monitor a network of trainers and mentors at all levels and within all functions on the site to ensure continuity of high quality training and for new starters to become effective quickly.
- Work in collaboration with site HR team to align with personal development needs to incorporate relevant content to the technical training programs.
- Support the delivery of key People Plan projects as required
Requirements
- Robust understanding of compliance and significant knowledge of data integrity.
- Significant experience in sterile manufacturing operations
- Capable of influencing at all levels of the business both internally and externally
- Proficient at aligning customer needs with business strategy.
- Ability to interpret report and explain complex data and concepts.
- Thorough understanding of current best L+D practices.
Qualifications and Accreditations
- Industry and Regulatory Understanding
- Technical Training Knowledge (Sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing essential)
- Experience in L+D work with Senior Stakeholders
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- Graduate in an appropriate subject ( e.g. science /engineering based, or similar)Line Management, and or budgetary accountability
