Job description
The Finance Manager role is a generic role however the current vacancy is within the costing team so the main duties are : Leading on the National Cost Collection return for the Trust. Leading on the benchmarking returns for the Trust Responsible for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial information to support the business making decision processes of the Trust. It is expected that the standards delivered will be measured against national standards and benchmarks and will deliver national best practice in all relevant areas Applicants will ideally have an understanding and good knowledge of costing in the NHS including and understanding of the Costing Transformation Programme, and of broader SLR / PLICS principles. However we are aware that the opportunity to get this level of experience can be challenging so showcasing an ability to understand and translate the costing principles and engage colleagues is the essential transferable skills required.
