Job description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh / Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Reward Lead for an initial 12 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £350-£550/day (Inside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Research alternative pay frameworks.
- Benchmark with counterparts in Scottish Government and wider Civil Service
- Review the suitability of the DDAT pay framework as a technical pay framework.
- Prepare options papers with proposals for changes to pay frameworks.
- Prepare business (financial) case for preferred option.
- Work closely with stakeholders and business leaders to project plan implementation of solutions, including HR and Digital colleagues (on people implications) and mapping of roles to new frameworks.
Essential Skills:
- Member of CIPD
- Knowledge of DDAT and / or other technical pay frameworks.
- Experience of assessing pay framework requirements, benchmarking options, proposing solutions, preparing business/ investment cases and implementation of new frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel data analysis and data visualisation.
- Skilled at engaging, building, and influencing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders up and across the organisation.
- Pro-active and collaborative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including data visualisation capability.
- Skilled at change and project management.
- Able to change and improve pay frameworks.
- Able to manage complexity and articulate risks, dependencies, and critical decision points.
- Able to understand and interpret a wide range of quantitative and qualitative data and insight, drawing clear and reasoned conclusions which lead to practical and actionable recommendations.
