Job description

Nursery Manager role in Ealing
Full time
Salary up to £45k

Main responsibilities:
To be committed and responsible for delivering effective safeguarding throughout the setting and be
the designated safeguarding lead.
To ensure the setting complies with all relevant legislation, local authority and Ofsted requirements.
To manage and continuously monitor and improve the high standards of the learning, development
and assessment of the children within the setting.
To effectively oversee the day-to-day operational duties of the nursery within the vision of long-term
development goals.

Education & Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce
or equivalent. Paediatric First Aid

Experience/Knowledge
A minimum of 2 years recent experience, working in a Preschool
/Nursery setting, ideally already in a senior practitioner or room leader
role.
Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and
current Ofsted statutory guidance.
Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good
quality learning opportunities.

Skills & Attributes
In depth knowledge of the EYFS.
Excellent communication skills with staff, parents and children.
Empathy and understanding of children under five
