Job Description
- Overseeing the financial operations within the organisation.
- Developing and implementing effective financial strategies.
- Preparing financial reports and interpreting financial information.
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
- Managing organisational budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislation.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out.
- Advising on investment opportunities and fundraising strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Finance Officer should have:
- A qualification in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong financial and accounting skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial legislation and regulations.
