Job description
We are looking for someone that ‘loves’ data and understands the importance that Data and Information has in service provision and improvement. The post holder will be a big part of the 250 strong staff imaging team and will be responsible for providing performance data for the Imaging service as it currently stands, as well as supporting exciting new developments for Imaging with future developments such as the Clinical Diagnostic Centre and Future Hospitals project.
Providing daily, weekly, monthly and annual statistics as required to the Trust information team, Head of elective access, Finance Department for billing purposes, and various Multi-Disciplinary teams, internal and external to the trust eg. ICB/ NHSE. To participate in service planning and service recovery work, producing data to support business cases and improvement planning. Interpreting the service performance data and to be a subject matter expert in this. Develop and deliver analytical products required to support the reporting of management information and insight. Interrogate all departmental systems and conduct advanced analysis. Utilising key statistics packages such as excel to enable statistical analysis and production work on projects to improve NHS waiting times targets, producing statistical reports using CRIS, PACS BI, Microsoft Power BI Excel. Represents the organisation as a data/business expert with internal and external customers, attending and presenting at meetings as required, acting as Trust expert. Work closely with the department Performance Manager and supporting where required daily, weekly, monthly data reports. Ensuring the integrity of the data and all reports and information requests are quality checked in conjunction with business experts and statisticians, where appropriate. Utilise knowledge of analytics and trends to include Statistical Process Control to identify patterns and anomalies in data and performance metrics to support department and trust strategic plans. #BeKnown at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
