You will be a dynamic, enthusiastic academic with experience of working within a team environment, contributing to collective goals and supporting colleagues in achieving them. As a balanced academic you should recognise the importance of high-quality student experience and teaching, alongside an emerging and accelerating research profile. They will have a breadth of knowledge across the wider computing domain, with deeper understanding of, and a developing reputation in, their particular specialism. They will have experience in delivering teaching and assessment within HE computing, applying suitable pedagogy to robustly develop and assess appropriate knowledge, skills and understanding across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They should recognise the importance of professional standards, attitudes, and behaviours, relevant to the computing domain and be able to effectively model these, through their own practice, supporting an equitable, diverse and inclusive culture and environment. A good honours degree (or equivalent) in a STEM computing related subject and PhD in a relevant subject area is required for this role.
