Job Summary and key responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Transformation Director the role of Strategy Associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse and implement strategic initiatives that enhance the organisation's performance and competitiveness. You will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions that drive positive change. You will have exposure to all areas of LRG’s business and will gain significant exposure to senior team members
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Group Transformation Director with the ongoing management and tracking of key projects
- Make operational/commercial recommendations to existing business practices with key stakeholders
- Develop and own the reporting and management for discrete projects
- Build business cases for new products
- Support the PMO team with acquisition integration – ensuring strategic and financial goals are achieved
- Identify, scope and to deliver commercial/strategic projects and initiatives within the team to improve profitability
- Other tasks/roles/requirements as identified by the Group Transformation Director to deliver effective Partnership or Operational solutions.
What you will need
- Strong skill set in reporting and analytics, with strong understanding of company financials
- Comfortable structuring, navigating and problem-solving complex and ambiguous strategic operational and commercial issues
- Able to work independently and proactively without supervision
- Pragmatic, delivery focused, willing to “roll up sleeves” hard working and enthusiastic
- Sets, and delivers to, very high standards
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse groups within the business
- Demonstrable business acumen
Experience
- Must-have:
- Business case and financial modelling experience
- Ability to evaluate commercial performance of both market facing and business operations
- Experience of articulating and presenting complex business and commercial strategies to senior management
- Demonstrable experience in managing and getting the most out of group departments, external agencies and suppliers
- Involvement in M&A work – either as part of diligence or integration process
- Fluency in all MS Office products
- Nice-to-have:
- Consulting experience, not necessarily within the property sector
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
- IT project experience
