Job description

Holt Executive is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician to join our partner, a leading designer and manufacturer of electro-optical solutions that supply a variety of markets across the globe.

The successful Quality Control Technician will play a crucial role in safeguarding project success by implementing rigorous quality checks at both incoming materials and production stages, preventing non-conforming materials from entering the workflow.

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Control Technician:

- Inspection and dimensional measurement of mechanical components/assemblies from suppliers and production to drawing.
- Inspection of various surface finish inspection requirements, paint, anodising etc.
- Inspection and functional go/no go testing of PCBAs and electronic components.
- Inspection of supplier/production paperwork and traceability auditing.
- In-process inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, sub-systems, and systems.
- Creation of and completion of dimensional/inspection reports as required.
- Support Quality Engineer with C of C activities, root cause analysis, and non-conformance reporting.

Key Skills & Experience required for the Quality Control Technician:

- Experienced in metrological principles.
- Experience in mechanical inspection and dimensional measurement.
- Experience in PCBA visual inspection and functional go/no go testing.
- Experience in creating and completing dimensional reports.
- Experience in various surface finish inspection requirements, paint, anodising etc.
- Experience with examining and auditing paperwork.
- Experience with in-process QC and inspection, first-off inspection.
