About Our Client
- Build excellent collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholder
- Deliver expert advice and guidance on procurement process and sound governance acting as the conduit for the passage of knowledge and best practice
- Gather, assess and challenge business requirements to assist in delivery of the procurement process and strategy
- Ensure the creation of positive supplier relationships, encouraging innovation, creation of added value solutions and a strong customer service ethic
- Monitor, implement and report on compliance with policy and process requirements elevating issues where appropriate and contributing to the building of a culture of continuous improvement
- Enable internal stakeholders to understand and work within agreed contract and financial delegations for effective risk management, quality assurance and overall integrity of the procurement process
- Assess and challenge business requirements during delivery of the end-to-end procurement process
Job Description
- Requiring and experienced category manager able to build procurement plans and deliver service quality and savings through effective application of your skills.
- You will have knowledge of industry regulations and legislative requirements in respect of third party management.
- You will be a self starter able to work well as a team player.
- Category Experience: professional services, None-IT, marketing, HR
- Sector Experience: ideally someone with a regulated sector background [investment banking, insurance, financial services], also considering retail and tech.
