This is a great opportunity for a dynamic hard working individual to join a very successful multiple practice. My client is one of the most successful practices in the area and due to continued growth they are now looking to add to their team.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
You will be meeting and greeting customers coming into the store, booking appointments, helping customers to choose the best frame for their needs, dispensing spectacles and ultimately making sales.
You will be on hand to help with initial clinical tests and offer advice to customers on how to care for and use their contact lenses. Additional reception and merchandising will also be a part of the role.
Requirements for the Optical Assistant.
To apply for this position you need to have at least 12 months experience of working within an optical environment. You will be able to dispense spectacles to all levels and pre-screen patient. On top of the skills required you will also be a friendly and out going person who is able to put customers at ease and you will be willing to go the extra mile to offer the very best in customer service..
Compensation for the Optical Assistant.
Competitive salary + additional training and development opportunities.
There is some flexibility with weekend working but will be needed to do either Saturday or Sunday.
