Job description

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Residential Home Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality care for children. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in residential home management, a deep understanding of legislations and policies, and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of children under their care.

As a Children’s Support Worker, your main duties will be to:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home for children.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care, meeting the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child.
Oversee and support the residential care team, providing guidance and training as necessary.
Maintain compliance with relevant legislations, policies, and quality standards.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and external stakeholders.
Manage budgets and resources efficiently to achieve optimal outcomes for the residential home.
To be a Children Support Worker, we require you to have:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services or recognized equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in residential homes for children.
Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the children's home sector.
Thorough understanding of relevant legislations and policies.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities.
