Job description
What you will do in your working day
You will get involved in a wide variety of duties, including:
- Repairing, maintaining, servicing, and testing of welding and cutting equipment
- Wiring and testing electrical equipment and circuits
- Carrying out safety testing of various electrical equipment
- Assemble and test new welding and cutting system packages
- Repair and service of fume extraction equipment
- Maintaining electrical wiring support systems
- Carry out software/upgrades
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Assisting customers at our trade counter
- Ensuring all items are fitted to the highest standards using the correct fixings and pass checks
The training you will be getting
Training will be with us - Swarm Reagit, a national provider of apprenticeships throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician, this apprenticeship will take 36 months to complete with assessments.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available for the right person.
