Consilium Recruit are proudly supporting a leading logistics provider within the Aerospace & Defence and Fulfilment sectors based in the West Midlands who have seen considerable growth and diversification over the past 20 years.

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team on site in support of one of their key Aerospace & Defence customers based in the Birmingham area on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role 

The Customer Service Representative will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Commercial service’s team and be the first point of contact for customers and stakeholders. This is a crucial position to the positive functioning of the business by completing daily transactional requirements linked to each product/unit receipted into the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing of customer purchase orders
• SAP data entry
• Contract Review execution
• OTD Management and exchanges
• Generation of customer pricing and quotation
• Invoicing of customer orders
• Administrative transactions relating to the above activities
• Resolution of queries relating to the above activities
• Credit and debit notes where required.

The Person

 
The Customer Service Representative will be able to travel to site and move towards a hybrid model once training has been completed. You shall have a high attention to detail and possess a methodical approach when utilising systems ensuring correct and accurate data is being managed.

Experience Required for the Customer Service Representative:

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Administrative accuracy and efficiency
• Experience dealing with customer purchase orders and/or contracts
• High attention to detail
• Proactive work approach
• Ability to work within a team
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Computer systems: SAP, Word, Excel
• Compliance with quality policies as contained in procedures and quality manuals
