Summary:
FSP Group is the global leading innovator in the power supply unit sector with over 9000 employees worldwide, design and produces over 60 million PSU per year. We are also the only world top 10 PSU maker who has its own branches office in the UK and being the leader in the UK PSU market.
Due to the UK’s office dynamic growth strategy for the business, we are seeking a Business Development Manager who is able to understand our customer’s needs and contribute towards the growth of the existing customer base, in line with our new business development strategy.
The successful applicant will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent (Business / Marketing / International Trade qualifications preferred) and be highly motivated, sales driven and organised. You will possess the ability to remain calm under pressure and be a confident communicator both written and verbally, in English and in Mandarin Chinese as well. You will have a proven track record in B2B sales roles and experience in the Power Supply Unit industry would be desirable but is not essential.
Responsibilities:
• work with senior management to develop sales strategies and setting sales target and identifying marketing requirements.
• have a good understanding of the businesses' products and services, and discusses customer requirements.
• review and analyze client’s feedback on products, services, and prices and compare to latest development and trends in market & competitors, undertaking market research and reporting to senior management.
• Maintains relationship with current customer base to ensure satisfaction with products and services and generating future business opportunities by suggesting possible improvements or product upgrades based on customer’s needs.
• be proactive in identifying prospective new markets, generate new leads and monitor progress of marketing campaigns.
• to analyse sales figures, preparing financial projections and liaise with senior management in recommending and developing marketing campaigns and promotional activities as appropriate.
Skills and experience required:
• Undergraduate or postgraduate Degree in business/ International Trade/ Marketing or related field
• Experience of working in a Sales/ Marketing department would be beneficial
• Mandarin speaker preferred and have experience cooperates with companies and suppliers in China
• Strong communication skills and an eye for identifying new business opportunities
• Proven ability to meet targets, and be part of a team working in a high volume and challenging environment
