Site Facilities Manager
Pay scale H, £15.17 per hour, Actual salary £29,269-£31,364
Working hours and weeks 37 hours a week with a 30mins unpaid lunch break each day
52 Weeks per year, 26 days allocated annual leave, plus bank holidays
Contract type Fixed Term until July 2025, with a possibility to become permanent within the year.

Closing Date Ongoing (Please note if significant applications are received, interviews may be held earlier and the advert will be closed)THE ROLE: We are due to open a new School building and are looking for a fixed term Facilities Manager to work with us on this exciting venture. The successful candidate should be a skilled and enthusiastic Site Facilities Manager, whilst school experience is preferred, we will consider applications from any candidates with transferable skills. This will a Fixed term contract until July 2025, with the potential to become permanent, based at our Rowde Campus
You will be working with a supportive team and have a genuine passion for working with students with learning difficulties. We provide a Local Government Pension Scheme, offer continuous professional development and a comprehensive wellbeing package.
The main duties:Keyholding, locking/unlocking and site security
Assist with the implementation of Compliance including legionella, COSHH, asbestos and Fire Safety
Responsible for reactive repairs and scheduled maintenance and undertaking regular site inspections
Supervise Maintenance contractors whilst on site
Supervision of School Vehicles including checks, MOT schedules and general cleanliness
Porterage
Acting as part of the Fire Response team
Room preparation for meetings and external lettings
Helping to uphold the Health & Safety of all users of the school in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
Overseeing ancillary staff and Service provision Contractors
Responsible for ensuring the School can function and that essential services are available
There may be some occasional weekend work required and a possibility of additional ad-hoc hours. This is a physically demanding role. We are a strong, supportive staff team, committed to high standards of delivery. You will be provided with training in all areas necessary.
