HR Advisor
Swadlincote - on-site
Up to £38,000 & benefits
Permanent & Full Time or Part Time (can be flexible)
SF Recruitment are currently working with an SME based in Swadlincote, this role doesn't involve any travel as it is based on the one site. You will work in a small HR team, supporting the day to day needs of HR. This business is a 24/7 operation so may include times where attending employees' weekend or night shifts for ER cases is needed.
You will need a hands-on approach and be eager to build relationships right from the very start across the business. This a generalist role, ER is involved but more on going/touching bases than volume case load. This is an exciting role for an HR professional, this role will not look the same as it does now in 12 months. The Head of HR who this role reports into, has exciting plans for you to be able to steer in the direction of the role by your passion and strengths.
Day to day tasks:
- Assisting management teams with recruitment
- New start monitoring
- Absence motoring
- Assist departments/management teams with performance management
- Provide ER support and advice throughout the business
- Advise and support on all change management
- Oversea the coordination of the Occupational Health to assist in any absence issues
- Be first point of contact for all HR matters
- Have a visible and open door approach
My client is looking to attract a HR professional who has a strong generalist HR skillset, as well as previous experience working at Advisor level. You will be CIPD level 3 qualified as a minimum with experience of a varied day to day workload. It would be ideal if you have experience working within manufacturing or similar but not essential.
