• Position: Legal Cashier
• Salary: £38,000 per annum plus very good company benefits which include healthcare, generous holiday allowance, company bonuses and regular company events
• Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday – Thursday, 09:00 -18:00 and Fridays 09:00-17:00. Hybrid working available
• Workplace based in Haywards Heath with plenty of parking on site. Short walk from the nearest mainline station.

We are delighted to be working alongside our established and very friendly legal client as they seek to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their team on a full time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking business who have shown exceptional levels of growth over the past few years.

The role:

Legal Cashier – preferably with experience of using Xero accounting software.

Duties / Responsibilities will include:

• Invoicing
• Bank reconciliation
• Sales and purchase ledger
• Client/Office transfers
• CHAPS transfers, processing client payments, producing and checking completion statements and billing
• Receiving, checking and paying consultant invoices
• Paying supplier invoices
• VAT returns
• Month end reporting
• Monthly payroll processing
• Managing outstanding debts
• Keeping records up to date

Key skills and competencies required:

• Previous Legal Cashier experience
• An eye for detail – strong accuracy
• Good IT skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An ability to deal with a busy workload
• An enthusiasm to take on new challenges
