ROLE DESCRIPTION
They are looking for an experienced Account Manager: Existing Business who has the desire and ambition to become a rising star to progress within their fast-growing business.
Working under the direct leadership of the Managing Director, and alongside the Service Delivery team, the Client Account Manager will be become the first point of call for their clients, delivering an exemplary client experience whilst promoting their extensive range of services (Japanese Knotweed Removal, Grounds Maintenance, Gritting Services), with a clear focus on increasing revenues.
Their business has grown impressively year on year since its inception and they are keen to expand further by offering a clear opportunity for someone to develop and flourish alongside their ambitious growth plans.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Engage with various stakeholders across the account, ensuring high customer satisfaction whilst constantly seeking opportunities to grow the account.
- Generating revenue by nurturing and growing existing accounts
- Become the first point of contact for their expanding high-profile client base
- Ensuring that all clients are aware of exciting and expanding product portfolio and ability to identify further opportunities
- Coordinate all aspects of Client Account Management
- Maintain regular contact (MS Teams and phone) with clients
- Generate new upsell and cross opportunities, working alongside the Marketing Manager to develop ongoing communication and sales strategies
- Attend meetings onsite when appropriate (often with the Managing Director and Head of Operations)
- Manage an existing client sales pipeline against targets
- Updating the CRM and Operational software systems with all client conversations, information, and activities (Tasks)
- Monitoring developments and updates within the industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience within Sales or Account Management within a B2B environment
- Previous experience within the Grounds Maintenance or aligned Facilities Management sectors
- Confident and experienced in speaking at decision-maker (C-Suite) level.
- Demonstrable evidence of Sales/Account Management successes and track record of performing against targets
- Experience using CRM databases, managing the sales cycle
- Highly computer literate with experience of modern, web-based software as well as Microsoft Office
- Good at building and maintaining trusted relationships - a team player
- Planning and organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Exceptional communications skills – both verbally and written
- A growth mindset and a clear desire to develop professionally
- Initiative, enthusiasm, and passionate about personal development
- Creativity and commercial awareness
