Job description

Are you an experienced sales professional within the Chemical Industry seeking a new opportunity?

We are currently seeking a driven Solvents Account Manager for this leading Chemicals company.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling solvents within the Midlands Area.

Your duties will include managing a customer base, engaging regularly with customers through face-to-face and virtual sales meetings, developing an opportunity pipeline, and maximising existing and new accounts to their full potential.

You will also play a crucial role in relaying market feedback to the Business Director and collaborating with business unit colleagues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Based in the Midlands Area
  • Experience in Chemical Distribution
  • Field sales experience in a commercial role
  • Full UK driver’s licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to use own initiative as well as being a team player
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions
Nice to have:

  • A degree in STEM or Business-related subjects
  • Experience in product formulation
  • Experience in Business Development
Solvents Account Manager responsibilities include:

  • Managing a customer base
  • Engaging regularly with customers via face to face and virtual sales meetings.
  • Develop an opportunity pipeline.
  • Develop existing and new accounts to full potential.
  • Relay market feedback to the Business Director
  • Attend Joint visits were required with business unit colleagues to utilise expertise within the Business Unit.
  • Work to agreed key performance indicators.
