The Care at Home team is looking for a carer for a couple in Ludlow, Shropshire. The gentleman suffers from early Alzheimer’s disease, short-term memory loss, and general frailty. No personal care is needed, however, medication and mobility supervision is needed. The lady has recently had a hip replacement and needs assistance with washing, bathing, showering, and dressing, plus medication supervision. The lady will be weight-bearing upon recovery – there is a stairlift at the property. The carer we are looking for needs to be experienced with this type of care, be calm, patient, supportive, and understanding. Other duties will include cooking and laundry.
