Maintenance Engineer

Location– Coventry

Salary - £45000 OTE 50Kshift premium + pension, 33 days holidays and excellent overtime scheme.

Training available– On Various OEM Equipment.

Shifts Available –Panama Shifts Days and Nights

The Company

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client who are a large Global business based in Witham. They are looking to add 2 Maintenance Engineers to their team urgently. The well-known and large UK Automotive manufacturing group have recently acquired a number of large contracts. Our client is going through exciting growth plans, this is an excellent time to join a large manufacturing group.

You will also receive industry leading training on CNCs, Robotics and PLCs

Overview Maintenance Engineer:

With an emphasis on breakdown elimination and preventative maintenance, you will be encouraged to have a direct input into the continuous improvement culture and have individual project ownership.

The role demands a maintenance trained and technically based individual who can offer at least 2 years’ experience in engineering or manufacturing and also hold relevant technical qualifications. The applicant must be conversant with hydraulics, drives, gearboxes and have a good understanding and working knowledge of current safe working practices.

You will be working in a various industrial equipment working on CNC, Robotics, presses, pneumatics, conveyors, hydraulics.

The role will be challenging but technical rewarding Maintenance Engineer role.

• Maintenance, production improvements and project work.
• Weekly PPMs the role initially will be 80% reactive 20% PPM.
• Faulting finding electrically and mechanically on several types of equipment onsite
• Gain exposure to various machinery.
• Fault finding to Input and output level on PLCs
• Work as part of 12-man maintenance team

Essentials:

o Apprenticeship and relevant qualifications
o Previous experience of working in an Engineering background
o Experience of problem-solving on maintenance, i.e. breakdowns
o Preventative Maintenance Experience
o Knowledge of H&S and safe systems at work
