Clinical Unit Manager
Location: Stevenage - Commutable from Letchworth Garden City, Welwyn, Ware, Luton etc
£21.97 - £23.02 per hour

I am currently looking for a nurse qualified individual to take on a Unit Manager position at a large nursing home in the Stevenage area. The role is with a well-established, highly respected group with a number of care and nursing homes across the South of England. This groups has a massive focus on kindness and respect towards its residents in all its nursing and care homes and is a brilliant company to work for, with a number of benefits including company pension, yearly bonus scheme, indemnity insurance and free DBS and NMC PIN update.
My client is looking for Clinical Unit Manager candidates that feel comfortable leading a team, have good clinical knowledge and an excellent ethos for care. While they would preferably like unit manager candidates that have had some kind of team leadership experience before they are happy to consider candidates who are looking to take a step up from various other roles within a nursing home of even a hospital environment. The main roles of the Clinical Unit Manager would be the planning, delivering and evaluating of care within their unit as well as assisting the deputy manager and home manager in the day to day running of the nursing home.
Clinical Unit Manager Requirements
•Nurse Qualified (RGN or RMN/RNLD with relevant experience)
•Good elderly care knowledge
•Team leadership skills
•Knowledge of CQC regulations
•Care focussed ethos
