About FOSS:
Friends of Scottish Settlers (FOSS) envisions a Falkirk District that is multicultural, multilingual, and welcoming,where local people, organisations, and services are equipped, supported, and willing to cultivate wellbeing,solidarity, community, curiosity, and respect among newcomers and longtime residents. Through befriending andother voluntary activities, we enable newcomers to Falkirk District to build links and bridges with otherlocals, shaping and making use of the knowledge, networks and services we all need to live full, self-determinedlives.
FOSS builds fruitful relationships through a culture of integrity, respect, solidarity, empowerment, and welcome. Webegan as an informal befriending project for resettled Syrian families in 2016, and, primarily through abefriending model, now support a range of newcomers to Falkirk District including Sudanese, Syrian and Ukrainianrefugees and people in the asylum system. With partnership working, targeted activities and programmes,fundraising, advocacy, and good information, FOSS enables local volunteers and newcomers to strengthen andproliferate support networks within our communities. This also helps us to act constructively together inresponse to rapidly changing world events and policy that impact our lives.
About the role:
Purpose of the post: Experienced administrator to carry out FOSS financial and administrative operations, as well ascoordinate procedures and resources for organisational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes providingadministrative support for FOSS’s transport, material needs, and other projects. Please see Job Description andPerson Specification for further details.

CIS seeks an experienced Fundraiser to provide support for our organisation’s sustainability.
The person needs to be organised, able to work well with others in a small team, and committed to a human rightsethos and CIS’s values.
We will guarantee an interview to anyone with lived experience of the UK asylum system who fulfils the essentialcriteria of the person specification.
The Fundraiser will have previous experience of successful fundraising for a charity, including grants from statutoryand charitable sources, multi-year project funding and core funding, and of relating to funders. You will haveexperience of working with an active board of trustees and will also have a good knowledge of the asylum andrefugee system in the UK.
Community InfoSource has funding for this post for 1 year and will then be subject to further funding beingavailable. The post is part-time at 14 hours a week.

The Royal Scottish Forestry Society, formed in 1854, is an educational charity focussing on promoting theunderstanding of trees, woods and forestry.
Every year RSFS puts on what we believe to be the most extensive programme of practical forestry events acrossScotland. The Society has published a semi-academic journal, Scottish Forestry, since 1858 promoting all aspectsof good practice in forestry.
The Society is at an exciting stage of its development growing its practical training offering, offering a widerrange of bursaries and expanding its digital content. To support these activities we are looking to appoint anAdministrative Officer.
Who we are looking for
You will be a personable, dynamic self-starter, used to being the first point of contact within the organisation. AsRSFS is a virtual organisation, you must be highly-organised and able to work independently contributing to theoverall team outcomes.
The principal functions of the role will be to undertake all of the administration relating to the following areasand to support members who volunteer to organise RSFS events:
o Annual Study Tour (AST) planning, arrangements and record-keeping;
o Regional Field Day (RFD) arrangements and record-keeping;
o Training Event (TEV) planning, arrangements and record-keeping;
• Bursary and awards administration;
• Web content relating to these matters;
• Operational policies and procedures for these matters.
Outline terms and conditions
• The role is for 21 hours per week;
• A full-time equivalent salary of £26,500 to £28,500, pro rated for the hours worked, to be agreed depending onexperience;

Community InfoSource (CIS) is looking for a key person with a passion for working within an organisation led bypeople seeking asylum and refugees, to enable them to secure their rights and put ideas into action. The CEOwill support the Board in directing the work of the organisation, building in sustainability and developing awellbeing culture and quality standards for all involved, assisting with taking forward its strategic vision andplans for the future, while increasing CIS’s public profile. The person should be committed to a human rightsethos and to CIS’s values.
The aim of this post is to provide support to the Board, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Community InfoSource has secured funding for this post from The Tudor Trust for 28 hours a week for a minimum of 1year. Thereafter it is subject to successful fundraising.
