Job description
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with recent SEMH experience to join in an alternative provision in Teesside. This position is to start as soon as possible, will be part time (afternoons only) and will initially be a temporary role, but will become permanent after 12 weeks.
This position will be ideal for a teaching assistant with recent SEMH experience who is looking to gain some more experience in an alternative provision. You will be working with small groups or perhaps on a 121 basis working with pupils who are 11 - 18 years old. Contract/position details: * Location - Teesside * Position - Teaching Assistant * start date - ASAP * Contract type - temp to perm * Part time * Minimum rate of pay - £19443 (per annum, pro rata - afternoons only) Experience, Training and qualifications: * Experience working with students with SEMH * GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or '4' & above * Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year * Up to date Prevent training issued in the last 3 years * Up to date FGM & behaviour management training To be eligible you must have/be: * Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced DBS child & adult certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your full, up-to-date CV.
