Key responsibilities: To plan and promote the SARC service to public and professionals To do targeted promotional work to increase under represented and hard to reach groups accessing the SARC service To be proficient in the use of social media platforms and have strong IT skills To identify and attend promotional and networking events To assist the SARC Manager to ensure that Male victims/survivors can be assured that their individual needs will be understood when accessing support from the SARC Service Produce and deliver presentations about the SARC service to partner agencies and participate in promotion of the SARC Service, confident in public speaking and delivering talks to large groups To maintain the Quality Standards for supporting Male Survivors To produce quarterly reports on promotional activity and progress Participate in multi agency partnership working. To assist with the administration and management of clients accessing the SARC service To offer a welcoming environment to all service users and visitors upon their arrival at the SARC To provide crisis support and advocacy service to all SARC clients To provide sensitive and nonjudgmental support, enabling the service user to regain control and self-esteem. To work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising and providing support to each other To offer telephone support to SARC clients To provide information to enable clients to make informed decisions in relation to the self-referral option, medical care, forensic examination, making a police report and onward referrals. To produce clear record keeping/documentation and ensure its secure storage as per SARC policy. To assess, offer and gain consent from the client for any onward referrals. To ensure a high standard of DNA decontamination between forensic cases. To assist with the collection of forensic samples, ensuring continuity and chain of evidence are maintained. Undertake the Crisis Worker role at any location outside the SARC to meet service needs if required, eg Hospital, Prison, Care Home. To document clearly any safeguarding concerns, complete any relevant risk assessments and liaise with the Sexual Offence Examiner, police officer and SARC office team. To be flexible to the needs of the service and comfortable driving long distances and for sustained periods. To feedback any issues or clinical incidents to the SARC Manager To maintain a SARC training matrix by attending peer supervision, appraisals, undertaking reflective practice and completing mandatory training. Participate in bi annual Employee Development Review (EDR). To adhere Policies and Procedures produced by G4S Health and the SARC Carry out any reasonable request from your line-manager
