We are looking for a Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our Infrastructure team. This is a hybrid role with regular travel across sites.

You’ll:

• Support the implementation of the HSW Business Plan and OU HSW strategy
• Lead on the development and implementation of the HSW sector strategy
• Lead on HSW tender submissions, coordinating responses via tender completion from the wider HSW team
• Collaborate to ensure best practise is made known, implemented
• Attend and support relevant industry groups as required
• Line manager experience, with a particular emphasison leading leaders
• Level 5 academically recognised qualification or above (i.e. Diploma/Degree/NVQ) relating to health, safety and wellbeing
• Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards
• In depth understanding of the principles of health, safety and wellbeing including a good understanding of effective management techniques
• Experience of working on highways contracts in a health and safety capacity
