Job Title: Project Management Senior Specialist

Location: Whitley, Coventry 

Rate: £45.50ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £34.38ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until 31/03/2024)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

Job Description:

This role is for a Project Management Senior Specialist who would be responsible for General Project Management and would require general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process including, organizing Project Teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements.

The ideal candidate will be monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing. Candidate will be required to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization). Identify and resolve obstacles to complete project on time and to budget. The task could also include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects).

On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables.

Level:

A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

Specialization Match Note:

• Para-Professional incumbents update or maintain project schedules and associated resource plans and prepares progress reports.

The activities will include:

• Manage the test schedule.
• Co-ordinate circa 100 testers to ensure they know what they are testing when allocating tests and scripts to testers using a power app or excel tool.
• Record and report on test completion and status.
• Logging defects and tracking resolution status using Jira.
• Run daily test stand ups.
• Communicate status to Project Team Stakeholders.

Skills Preferred:

• Desirable Experience in Project Management.
• Office experience of User Acceptance or System Testing.

Experience Required:

• Essential experience in digital projects.
• Experience of User Acceptance or system testing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organisation skills.
• Confident with excel and using Power Apps.
