Required as soon as possible on a temporary contract for 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support children’s learning and join our highly skilled Learning Support Assistant team. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and able to form effective relationships with young people and staff and have a full commitment to child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. We are firm believers in all children being treated as individuals and encouraging and supporting them with their growth enabling them to accelerate in their learning.

Grade 3 Point 3 £22,737 per annum pro rata (£11.79 per hour)
17 hours and 45 minutes per week - FTE
Qualities we are looking for in learning Support Assistants: -
An interest in and love for working with children
Natural patience, enthusiasm and empathy with children who have specific needs
Support individual children on a one-to-one basis and in a small group
Will follow the Pupil Learning Plans and Therapeutic Support Plan when appropriate
The ability to enable all children, as individuals, to thrive in your care
Passion and initiative in delivering and supporting motivating learning opportunities for children
Work with the class teacher to provide high quality in-class provision
Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job
A team player as well as using your own initiative
