Experienced Site Engineer from a Civil Engineering background.
New build residential scheme with RC frames, basements, up to 8 floors of RC frame over.
The Project involved piling followed by excavation to allow for the creation of basements, then Ground floor slabs and now working on the RC superstructural work. The work is mainly involved in RC frames.
Working for the contractor, you will be involved in the setting out, maintaining site control, and working with the Foremen, as the job develops. No parking on site.
Civil Engineering degree is preferred. Ideally with 4 years experience working in a similar role for a London based RC frame contractor. Experience in all aspects of RC sub- structure and super-structure is relevant. You must have considerable drive and determination with the ability to work with people at all levels.
You will help organise the site activities on a day-to-day basis, working with an experienced PM & GF, maintain strong H&S standards. You must be used to Leica equipment, IT and AutoCAD literate and able to communicate clearly in oral and written communication with a wide range of site personnel.
Rate. £260-270 per shift self-employed basis. CSCS essential, SSSTS / SMSTS an advantage. Applications will only be considered if you are currently allowed to live and work in the UK. Current references will be required. You must currently live within 45 minutes of Wandsworth.
